The 2011 Fess Family reunion was a smashing success. Cousins got re-acquainted, rode horses, played miniature golf, had paintball wars, rode zip lines, and ate a lot.
Joanie and Kirk choreographed a wiener roast on Friday night with marshmallow "Smores" for desert for more than twenty.
Others arrived on Saturday morning making a total of thirty for Saturday lunch. Saturday morning also produced a miniature golf tournament for most.
Saturday afternoon was filled with visiting, paint ball wars, horseback riding, and a photo session. After dinner, the group sat around Kirk's campfire and continued visiting.
Another treat Saturday night was listening to Joanie's son, Robert sing and play his guitar.
Thanks go out to Joanie and Carolyn for planning and executing a well thought out event.
